Funeral notice - Eddie Norris
As many of you are already aware, we recently lost one of colleagues, Eddie Norris.
He lost his battle with Cancer after a long year of fighting hard.
Eddie had worked in the timber trade all his life and had made many friends.
His dedication to the job in hand was exceptional, and he would move mountains to get the best service for his loyal customer base.
He was demanding of his colleagues too, and we can all recite stories of Eddie’s determination to get the job done no matter what the fallout may be.
We all loved him for his sheer drive and enthusiasm even when things were tough, along with his infectious sense of humour once you got to know him.
Away from work, Eddie was a quiet but proud man and his love for his wife Ann, his mum & dad, sisters his close friends and especially Liverpool FC was there for all to see.
Eddie was a large character who had personality, drive, and loyalty. He will be sorely missed by all at International Timber Trafford Park, and I am sure by customers alike.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday 9th December at 11.00 – St Georges -Station Road Maghull L313DF.
There are only 30 people allowed in the church due to COVID restrictions which will be family and close friends. However, his family are arranging for a live web cam (streaming of the funeral ), to allow friends, colleagues and anyone who knew Eddie, access to watch the service live online
The service will be 40 minutes followed by a detour around Liverpool Football club and then on to Anfield Crematorium.
Eddie’s family have asked for no flowers, but donations to Woodlands Hospice, Fazakerley.
