COVID-19: International Timber Customer Update

We have always sought to balance the needs of our customers with the safety of our employees and the protection of their health. Nothing is more important to us than the safety of our team, which led to the closure of International Timber sites several weeks ago, in line with many Saint-Gobain businesses. The days since have been used to assess how best to safely serve our customer base during these difficult and challenging times.

Having introduced extensive new health and safety procedures at our manufacturing sites, including social distancing, new cleaning regimes and PPE, we will begin a phased re-opening of International Timber’s production sites as of the 4th of May.

Our primary responsibility remains the health and safety of our employees and their families, and so we will be operating at a reduced production capacity to ensure we can meet guidance on social distancing. As customer demand increases, we will carefully increase our capacities and in time return to more typical lead-times.

If there is a current order in the system you will be contacted by one of the team to discuss the revised delivery date.

During our phased re-opening of sites and offices, please send any questions or enquiries to the following:

  • Grangemouth – 0844 728 0320
    Stirlingshire FK3 8UU
  • Trafford Park – 0844 728 0340
    Manchester M17 1DJ
  • Parkend – 0844 728 0360
    Lydney GL15 4JF
  • Purfleet – 0844 728 0390
    Purfleet RM19 1RE

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for your support and patience during this difficult time, and wish you and your families well.
